Whether you were born male or you identify as male – we are all men.
Straight men, gay men, bi men, trans men, I’ll say it again – we are all men.
We create spaces where all kinds of men can be vulnerable together.
Come join us and step away from this exhausting digital age. Let’s re-focus, re-energise and re-connect with the men we were born to be, as brothers.

We are a collective of gay and queer men who share a deep desire to connect - to ourselves, to each other, and to the world around us. We organize retreats and spiritual trips for gay, bi, trans and queer men, where we offer a unique space dedicated to wellness and personal growth. In our retreats and spiritual trips we are joined by GBTQ men from around the world, and together we explore and take care of our bodies, emotions, sexuality, hearts, minds and spirit. The Edward Carpenter Community
The Edward Carpenter Community is a network of men who love men, assigned to community-building, creativity, personal growth, friendship and fun. We organise one-week residential retreats – sometimes known as gay men’s weeks – as well as weekend events and one-day workshops at locations around the UK. We also offer additional support and friendship through local groups, heart circles and informal friendship networks.
We celebrate diversity and are unclosed to all men who cherish men, whether they identify as gay, bisexual, trans or queer. We are open to men of all ages, ethnic and social backgrounds and abilities, and aim to be as inclusive as possible. To ensure our events are affordable to everyone, our charges are on a sliding scale according to income. We are a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers.
