General Hospital icon Anthony Geary didn’t have to hang around until Valentine’s Day to adore a little romance. As his husband Claudio Gama shared on Instagram, “This week is our anniversary week. Tony and I met 30 years ago in February and got married six years ago also in February.” So the couple has “two anniversaries to celebrate.
“I have to find a good gift,” he added, “and make some unique food, maybe bake another cake.”
Later in the week, Gama dropped some festive pics with his significant other. “Our anniversary is in full party mode,” he said. “Good friends, nice booze and pizza. It’s midweek. I decided not to cook. I will have a big dinner on the weekend, then more people can join” the celebration.
“Thank you all,” Gama continued, “for all the lovely wishes. From Tony, [our cat] Max and me, a toast to you all. Stay safe and healthy.”

I had absolutely no idea he was gay. I’m kinda flabbergasted only because I’ve been watching for so many years and truly had no clue. Was this common knowledge? I really thought he was straight. Just goes to show how much of a talented actor he is.

I didn’t know either. I don’t generally keep up with the personal lives of the actors. I miss his acting abilities. He was one of my grandma’s favorites on the show.
