It is your game and you can do with it what you want, but if you want to craft a statement, then only including gay dating to your dating sim is not the way to do it, if you ask me. The thing is: You feel excluded in the straight dating sims, so you make your own. But instead of including gays, you exclude them even further.
Instead of saying: "Being gay is normal and we should all perceive like we can play the same games", your sim says: "Straights and gays do not mix. You have your games, we have ours."
(I really desire you don&#;t feel like I am judging you for being gay or for making a gay game. That is absolutely not what I try to do.)

Hello folks. I’ve been a fan of Choice-of-Games but yep, I decided to go the Ren’Py route to inflict–I mean–share, my artistic talents with the world.
I ended up making a demo for a gay male dating sim.
If you’re interested, please check it out. I’ve used the various helpful articles from this site to help me map out routes to my game. The game will be available December and is called “Coming Out On Top.”
It’s another game being crowdfunded through Kickstarter. At the moment, it’s gotten a lot of support. Additional support is welcome of course, but if not, critiques from actual fans of the multiple-branching-storyline model would be excellent. I think there’s a good chance you’ll like the demo too if you like m/m romance/games/fiction.
While the game is story and character based, it is an 18+ game due to some erotic content. Please check out the demo if you’re interested. (Link is on the Kickstarter site.)
And yes–the main criticism is not the writing so much as the fact all the guys observe like models. I’m afraid

miraclr - Divine Dating Simis a comedic workplace romance starring the biblical (and apocryphal) archangels, told in a mobile office collaboration app.
In miraclr you play as an unnamed human recruited to assist the archangels of heaven with the creation and implementation of the first true miracle in over years. Because you can't see them in their office, you are given access to miraclr, an app used by the Archangels for intra-office messaging. It looks a little like Slack, with similarly structured channels and PMs.
Shortly after you launch up miraclr, you will settle on a scheduled time for your first meeting, then preferences for future meetings. From then on, miraclr will unfold (mostly) in real-time, whether or not you have the game unwrap.
