The best gay friendly neighborhood to be found in Omaha, Nebraska includes the very center of the city, it’s downtown area. It is in Omaha’s downtown district that some of the very best in gay arts, music, and theater are to be found.
Younger gays and lesbians may find the downtown district to be their ideal place to party and also to live, since there are so many options for entertainment to be had inside this busy metropolis. So I've read a few threads that have gone off the rails, and I'm wondering: I'm considering a advance to Omaha and I don't need to live in an exclusively gay enclave, but I want to live in a neighborhood where I can be open about who I am, build a life in adj, and show affection to my partner (and celebrate these things) without fearing for my noun. It's fine if these spaces don't exist in Omaha -- I'll just set my sights elsewhere -- but I verb to know what I'm getting myself into (and where I should look) before I autograph on the dotted line.
